Production Supervisor-Makeroom (PM Shift)

Do you have a passion for cheese, leadership, and efficiency? If so, Burnett Dairy Cooperative is looking for a Makeroom Production Supervisor to keep our cheese-making process running smoothly! As a Makeroom Production Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of our cheese-making operation, leading a team, ensuring quality, and keeping production on track. This is a hands-on leadership role, so you won’t just be calling the shots, you’ll be right there on the production floor making it happen! Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

✔️ Ensure product quality, crew safety, and production efficiency
✔️ Handle production scheduling, staff coordination, and training
✔️ Coach and develop your team for success
✔️ Troubleshoot and maintain knowledge of all machinery
✔️ Keep up in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment

To be successful in this position, we’re looking for:

✅ A strong leader with great communication skills
✅ Ability to motivate, assess, and develop employees
✅ Willingness to work on the production floor, this is NOT a desk job!

Burnett Dairy Cooperative is currently looking to hire full-time production employees to work in various manufacturing departments of our cheese production facility. All applicants must be 18 years old to apply. Multiple positions and shifts are currently available and listed below.

🧀 Whey Process Operator (PM Shift)

Are you ready to whey in on something awesome? 💥
Join the team at Burnett Dairy Cooperative as a Whey Process Operator and be a vital part of transforming our whey into top-notch, high-quality dairy products! 🧀🥛

You’ll help keep the magic flowing from pasteurizer to final product—and have a blast doing it!

🔧 What You’ll Be Rockin’ Every Shift:

✔️ Operating and monitoring whey processing equipment (pasteurizers, R.O./Polisher, U.F., and C.I.P. systems)
🧽 Cleaning silos, pumps, plates & making sure everything runs like clockwork
👀 Watching for equipment issues and jumping in when needed
🧠 Working independently and staying sharp with strong attention to detail

💥 What You Bring to the Table:

Able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs 💪
Comfortable with warm work environments ☀️
Can handle ladders, ducking under pipes, and working solo 🧗‍♂️
Organized, focused, and alert for long periods of time 🧠👀

⏰ Work Schedule:

Night Shift: 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. with a great 4-on/4-off rotation, giving you 4 consecutive days off every cycle.

📚 What You'll Need:

Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable climbing ladders and working in an active production environment
Ability to bend, stoop, and navigate around equipment and piping

Agricultural/Spray Applicator 🌾

Burnett Dairy Cooperative is proud to partner with local farmers by providing the products, services, and expertise they need to keep their operations thriving. As we continue to grow our Agronomy Department, we are seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable Agricultural Spray Applicator to join our team.

In this role, you'll operate and maintain modern, state-of-the-art application equipment while delivering exceptional service to our local farming community. Our equipment is designed with operator comfort, safety, and efficiency in mind, allowing you to focus on providing accurate and timely applications.

The ideal candidate is a certified applicator with at least two years of agricultural application experience and holds a current Minnesota or Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator License. A Class A or Class B CDL is preferred but not required.

We're looking for someone who values teamwork, is willing to lend a hand where needed, and takes pride in supporting not only our agronomy team but other departments across the cooperative. Flexibility, a positive attitude, and a commitment to helping the entire organization succeed are key to thriving in this role.

Operate the cash register and accurately handle money and transactions
Stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise

Shifts ranging from approximately 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
